#GlasgowMayDay poster is inspired by the Red Clydeside and the 100th anniversary of the 1919 general strike. Thank you to the Glasgow artist Ken Currie who kindly lent STUC use of the image from a Banner created for his graduation show at Glasgow Art School in 1982.
“We believe it is the fist time John Maclean has featured in a Glasgow May Day poster, so this tribute is long overdue. A3 poster will be available for wider distribution and larger A2 poster will be available for sale on the day.”
