Glasgow Cinema: Only Lovers Left Alive, Glasgow Film Theatre, 7 – 13 March
Only Lovers Left Alive15
- GFT, 12 Rose Street
- Friday 7–Thursday 13 March
Adam and Eve are a pair of willowy, languidly eccentric vampires with a shared appreciation for trendy music and edgy photography. There’s a suggestion that they could even have been the world’s first couple: their love affair has spanned millennia. Now it brings Eve to Detroit, the shabby-hip ghost town Adam grudgingly shares with human ‘zombies’, who are of use only when providing him with blood or cult appreciation. Eve’s arrival on her lover’s scene will bring the supercilious couple to a crisis before long.
