A Celebration of Life: Dances of the African- Guyanese is a documentary that examines the cultural roots of traditional dance in Guyana – a former British Colony located in South America, which is also part of the Caribbean. Exploring how numerous influences have been blended in this multicultural society, this film is an analysis of the social and spiritual meanings of African-Guyanese dances.
Steppin

Steppin is a documentary that introduces viewers to the step show – an exciting dance style popular among black fraternities and sororities in America. In addition to many rousing, crowd-pleasing performances, the film examines the cultural roots of Steppin’ in African dancing, military marching and hip-hop music, discussing its contemporary social significance on college campuses.
