Future Shorts Glasgow returns for another grand spanking selection of some of the best short films produced in recent years. Represented in this season’s selection is the award-winning animation Marilyn Myller by the makers of previous FS featured short The Eagleman Stag, Werner Herzog features in a short produced by The Borscht Corporation (who were showcased at this year’s Glasgow Short Film Festival) and Scotland’s own Lynne Ramsay with her most recent work: Swimmer, alongside many more! Full programme details here
Not only this, but FS Glasgow will also be presenting two short films before the main programme by local and emerging filmmakers. Wyld by Rory Alexander Stewart follows barmaid Julie (played by British Academy Scotland New Talent Award-winner Julie Speers)’s trials and tribulations at the pub she works in, and the latest animation by Ross Hogg with a riot of sound and colour in Scribbledub. We are delighted that Ross is able to join us at the screening for a short Q&A as well. Place alongside this tunes from our FS DJ Cat and a few beers, and you have the makings of an excellent night!
