Frightfest Halloween ‘The Dark Heart of Cinema’ All-Dayer 2014 N/C 18+
GFT
Saturday 1 November
Frightfest once again returns to the GFT this Halloween for an all-day event guaranteed to rattle your senses, leaving you shocked and terrified for another year.
Beginning with the World Premiere of Last Shift, the latest from Frightfest luminary Anthony BiBlasi, we then have a retrospective of cult Hammer Horror film Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, a favourite of directors such as Peter Jackson and Ben Wheatley. The Pact II surpasses its predecessor by going into deeper psychological areas to stir up its scares and The ABC’s Of Death 2 features a whole new raft of short film mayhem from an impressive mix of talent. Closing the event we have a special preview of The Editor, billed as the Airplane! of Giallo, this tale of a film editor on the verge of a nervous breakdown is a brilliant homage to those 1970s’ Italian thrillers.
Buy your ticket for all five films for only £35!
12 Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RB.
