A gripping noir crime thriller that honors Hong Kong’s classic genre cinema while giving it a fresh, modern twist.
After 20 years in prison, Shuang (Tai Bo) tries to leave the criminal world behind — until he decides to help Alice (Kuku So), a teenage girl fleeing her mother’s abusive partner. Stunningly shot, For Alice channels the suspense and style of 1980s–90s Hong Kong thrillers, while exploring guilt, redemption, and moral complexity, announcing debut director Wing Chow as a rising talent to watch.
