Guitar Lessons – Specifically Designed for Children
First Strings was founded in 2013 by Johanna Bannerman. Frustrated by the lack of opportunities for children to learn guitar in Glasgow, she developed First Strings with the mission of providing high-quality guitar tuition for children without the high price tag. Joanna aimed to move away from the outdated approach normally associated with private music tuition with lessons that are fun and specifically designed for children. Her classes make the process of learning guitar as simple and enjoyable as possible.
The music covered in lessons is pop and rock music, so that the children can learn guitar through music and songs they know and enjoy listening to.
No previous experience of music is required.
A free trial lesson is available to all students who are interested in getting started.
Classes take place in Partick, Glasgow West End.
