Festival 2014 at Glasgow Film:
Cargo, Camera… ACTION!
Saturday 26 July (from 2pm)
On Saturday 26 July, Glasgow Film takes over the banks of the River Clyde for a day-long cinematic spectacular by the water, featuring a major newly commissioned work by 85A, tasty treats from Street Food Collective SCRAN’s outdoor cafe bar and performances by renowned theatre-maker Eilidh MacAskill.
85A Performances will take place throughout the day with live music accompaniments from Gypsy Romania (2pm), Golden Teacher (3.45pm), Halfrican (5.15pm), Mungo’s Hi-Fi + MC Diggy Dang (6.45pm) and Capone & The Bullets (8.15pm). After dark, the set becomes a late-night cinematic playground, with a programme of film screenings including new work by Torsten Lauschmann, Chris Leslie, Minty Donald and Nick Millar.
The 85A performances are free but ticketed.
