The Acoustic Affair presents …
Young Scottish songwriter Emily Punton headlines her first show to kick of the new year in style !
With support from RJ is a creator and singer/songwriter of his own music. With just himself and his guitar, he can truly put across the message in his songs. He has always loved music and loved to surround himself by it. He started messing about with song-writing when he was about 14/15, about the time he was also teaching himself to sing. Usually his inspiration comes from different places. His songs are based on experiences he is currently going through so his songs are inspired by so many different people in his life. Jack Johnson was a heavy influence when he was younger and was a big fan due to his sheer song writing ability. Paolo Nutini has also been an artist he has looked up to, at one stage the only songs he could play were Paolo’s. He was also very influenced by songs which tell a story so songs like “House of The Rising Sun” by The Animals and “Hotel California” by The Eagles.
