Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival is delighted to be back in cinemas, welcoming film fans to its ninth edition. We’re delighted to be screening two standout titles from the programme at GFT: the powerful, Goya-awarded Maixabel plus a Q&A with director Icíar Bollaín, and La Voluntaria, a touching drama about a retired doctor volunteering in a Greek refugee camp, with a special introduction.
