Easter Family Fun Sessions and Nature Walks
Woodlands Community Gardens
Plenty of fun line up this Easter with three chances to join in outdoor play at the community garden. All sessions are free and no booking required.
Wednesday 16th 11am – 12 midday CLOUDS AND SKY using mirrors to explore the worlds above us
Thursday 17th 11am – 12 midday MESSY PLAY wear old clothes and be prepared to get messy!
Friday 18th 11am – 12 midday ROCK ART use paints to create a pebble friend or pre-historic rock art work
CLOUD SPOTTING WALK
Wednesday 16th April, 2pm to 4pm
We’ll start at Woodside Library (343 St George’s Rd, Kelvingrove, Glasgow G3 6JQ ) and take a walk up to the canal and over into Possilpark, taking time to observe the sky along the way. The ‘paths’ in Possilpark are grass tracks and do get muddy so please wear sturdy footwear.

SPRINGTIME WOODLAND WALK

Springtime Woodland Walk; Come and explore Dawsholm Park, the mature woodland provides cover for a wide range of plants and animals. We will spend time observing many species of trees, plants, birds and animals. Starting from Maryhill Burgh Halls (24 Gairbraid Ave, Glasgow G20 8YE)

Join us to discover the fascinating past of Glasgow through geology. We will be joined by Strathclyde Geoconservation to lead us through the history of the rocks. Starting from The Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens (730 Great Western Rd, Glasgow, Glasgow City G12 0UE).
