Dead Man’s Wire
20 March – 2 April, 2026
It’s 1977, and Tony Kiritsis (Bill Skarsgård) is at the end of his tether with the mortgage firm he believes is exploiting him. He walks into their offices and takes the boss’s son (Stranger Things’ Dacre Montgomery) hostage, using a shotgun rigged with ‘dead man’s wire’. Holed up in his flat, Kiritsis becomes a minor celebrity as he airs his grievances to a DJ (Colman Domingo) while the police try to figure out how to save the day. Gus Van Sant’s blackly comic, stylish thriller is a must for Dog Day Afternoon fans.
