Coorie in this winter with Eden Project Communities, in partnership with Glasgow City Council at the Botanic Gardens, Glasgow.
Come along  for a day of connection, warmth and food! Let’s celebrate and become friends with all the wonderful charities, organisations and people involved in doing great things in their communities!

“We’re hoping to see as many of you as possible and it looks set to be great a day, so let’s have fun and get to know one another a little better over a mince pie!”

Jennifer Carroll: Jennifer is the Relationship & Communications Lead for Scotland and comes from a third sector background where she has been developing links between community members, service providers, funders and stakeholders and working closely with each of them to build projects and partnerships.  Jennifer loves helping to nurture neighbourhoods into thriving environments by creating opportunities for everyone.

Martin Quigley: Martin is the Community Network Developer for Scotland and prior to this he has worked in charity organisations for over 12 years, working for some national charities such as Alzheimer Scotland, Marie Curie Cancer Care as well local charities such as the Ayrshire Hospice and Ayrshire Cancer Support. Martin is passionate about communities and bringing people together.

“Our Mission is to bring people together and encourage them to actively engage with one another and the places where they live.  We have a vision of a world full of happier and healthier communities where people know one another and neighbourhoods thrive.”

“To tackle the greatest issues facing humanity, we need strong and resilient communities, yet societies are becoming increasingly fragmented.  Based on the belief that we are better equipped to tackle challenges when we face them together we are building social capital for our collective future.”

Our work with communities helps us give people a sense of agency so that everyone can get involved and feel like they belong in their community, wherever they live.

“To take part in this session and for GDPR it is important you confirm you have read and agree to our terms and conditions  and privacy policy Please read them and agree to them when you book your place.”
