This month Ceol ‘s Craic’s film club will be screening a fascinating BBC ALBA documentary exploring the historic, musical and cultural legacy of the beautiful, deserted Isle of Mingulay.
The film features a specially commissioned soundtrack by the renowned Gaelic singer, composer, and clàrsach player Maggie MacInnes whose forebears hailed from the island. (Buy CD online)
Gaelic language tutor Janet Evans will host a learners conversation workshop before the screening, at 6.30pm
