Elizabeth Taylor was a child star who became an Oscar winning actress, while Richard Burton was the son of a Welsh miner renowned for his stage roles. Their affair caused a huge sensation, the Vatican calling it ‘erotic vagrancy.’  Their lavish lifestyle turned them into Hollywood’s most famous couple, now a new play by Welsh writer Steven Elliot explores their lives and their relationship.

Steven Elliot is an actor and director with many stage and screen credits. ‘The Burton Taylor Affair’ is his debut play as a writer.
