Blow Out GFT 8 and 9 October, 2016

Brian De Palma’s masterful thriller.
Sat 8 (18.00) & Sun 9 October (19.20)
Running time: 1h47m
Brian De Palma blends suspense and political paranoia in this masterful thriller with an amazing climax taking place amongst Philadelphia’s Liberty Day celebrations. While recording sound effects for a slasher flick one night, Jack Terry (John Travolta) witnesses a car careering off a bridge into a river. He is able to save Sally (Nancy Allen) but not the other passenger, a governor intending to run for president. As Jack listens to his recording of the crash, he hears something unexpected and as his curiosity gets the better of him, he begins to unravel the pieces of a nefarious conspiracy.
