Friday 15–Thursday 21 August
When Chris (Clive Owen) is released from prison after a stint for a gangland murder, his freedom spells trouble for his police-officer brother Frank (Billy Crudup). Hoping Chris has turned over a new leaf, Frank helps him readjust – providing him with a home, and helping him rebuild bridges with his ex-wife Monica (Marion Cotillard) and children. However, after a series of betrayals, Frank decides to wash his hands of Chris, only to find that the ties that bind have shackled him to his brother’s fate.
