It’s Only Banter, Book Launch by Leroy Rosenior at STUC, Glasgow, 20 July, 2017

Leroy Rosenoir ex-pro footballer and Football League show pundit will be launching his autobiography ‘It’s Only Banter’ on Thursday 20th July at the STUC , 333 Woodlands Rd, Glasgow G3 6NG
Leroy’s book deals with his experience of racism in professional football and the homophobia faced by friends.
Leroy has spoken at trade union and anti-racism events in the past and is a powerful orator who gives a great insight into the appalling abuse he and other black players experienced in football. This will be the only event Leroy is doing in Scotland. Apart from his media work Leroy is heavily involved with Show Racism the Red Card in England. Show Racism the Red Card in Scotland are promoting the event.
The event is being supported by GMB Scotland and sponsored by the GMB Glasgow General Apex Branch. This event is also being supported by United Glasgow FC, STUC Black Workers Committee, STUC LGBT+ Committee and Show Racism the Red Card.
