Aye Write 2017: Sara Sheridan & J. David Simons – Compelling and Complex Characters, CCA 9 March, 2017

Join these two prize-winning authors as they read from and discuss their latest novels.

Sara Sheridan was named one of the Saltire Society’s 365 Most Influential Scottish Women, past and present and will be talking about her most recent novel On Starlit Seas which follows celebrated writer and historian Maria Graham as she makes the treacherous voyage from Brazil to London to deliver her latest book to her publisher.

J. David Simons studied law at Glasgow University and was shortlisted for the McKitterick Prize for his first novel The Credit Draper. He will be launching his latest novel A Woman of Integrity the story of one woman’s obsession with the life of a silent movie star and the consequences of the decisions we make.
