Botanica Fabula presents ATROPA NIGHTS Schedule three stories from the poisoner’s almanac; tales of dangerous plants, wilful women and the men who loved them!
A woman poisons her bloodthirsty employer, a man seduces the woman he longs for, a girl grows up to be…a werewolf? Acclaimed, highly original storyteller Amanda Edmiston brings three original tales to dramatic, chilling life in this evening of decidedly adult storytelling. Inspired by her study of herbal medicine and her love of literature, lore and folk tales, Amanda’s three new stories bristle and intoxicate with lust, revenge, betrayal, growing up and growing old. With original live music by Louise Cairns (River City, Dance Moms), these dark tales are performed with the charming, dangerous enticement that this is storyteller’s winning card. An unsettling fusion of actor and confidante, she’ll have you in her lap before delivering a fatal sucker punch.
