A Play, A Pie and A Pint, Autumn/Winter Programme 2014
Twenty-first season of A Play, A Pie and A Pint at Oran Mor!
Lunchtime Theatre, OranMor, (top of Byres Road G12)
“We want to thank all of our audience for their support over the past few months. David Maclennan A Play, A Pie and A Pint ten years ago to present audiences in Scotland with a variety of high quality drama at lunchtime. Over the past decade we have grown into a company that produces 38 new plays a year, collaborates with other companies and venues across the UK and internationally and presents the work of writers in the early stages of their careers combined with some of our best loved playwrights. David MacLennan created what is now a celebrated institution in Scotland and we wish to honor his immense achievement by continuing the legacy of A Play, A Pie and A Pint. This season we have a combination of comedies, historical drama and farces amongst others. We are collaborating with political theatre company Theatre Uncut for the first time and continue our relationship with the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh and The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. This is David’s last curated season and we dedicate all the plays to him.”
