Marginalia Launch Night
Wednesday 2 April, 2025
333 Woodlands Rd, Glasgow G3 6NG
Marginalia is Scotland’s boutique cultural showcase. Bringing together big names from the worlds of stand-up comedy, spoken word, literature and music; each expertly curated bill promises to provide the perfect midweek night out. Taking over the legendary Stand comedy club in Glasgow, our unique combination of guests will massage your grey matter, tickle your funny bone and tug at your heart strings – often all at the same time. Created and hosted by Nasim Rebecca Asl and Kevin P. Gilday, Marginalia is a vital new addition to Scotland’s cultural calendar and an opportunity to catch some of the country’s very top artists under one roof.
The inaugural event will feature poetry from former Edinburgh Makar Hannah Lavery, comedy from poster boy of Scottish stand-up Stuart McPherson, tales of Westminster from ex-SNP MP Mhairi Black and critically acclaimed author Callum McSorley reading from his latest novel, Paperboy.
