The Pearce Institute, Community Festival 2023

All day event from Noon until 10 p.m.
The festival is free and no tickets required, just turn up on the day.

Programme
12-3pm – Great Big Govan Gala 2023 in the McLeod Hall
Featuring live music, circus performers, face painting, stalls, community groups, raffle and more!
1-4pm – Govan Youth Theatre Arts Workshops (aged 5 to 12) in the Fairfield Hall
Featuring 1 hour workshops:
1-2pm – Street Dance with MLU Squad
2-3pm – Circus Skills with the Juggling Gent
3-4pm – Drama from Govan Youth Theatre
3-5pm – PI Drag Bingo with Geezah in the Cafe
Join one of Glasgow’s best known drag queens Geezah for 2 hours of bingo, performance, and belly laughs!
Prizes to be won!
7-10pm – Diversity Disco in the McLeod Hall – The disco enables people with disabilities to come together, socialise and have a dance with friends in a safe, relaxed and friendly environment. We’ll be playing hits new and old and there’s prizes to be won for the best dancer!
For all ages.
