Mary will talk about her latest book, Gallowgate, the author’s third historical novel. She will talk about the book, the research required and writing in general.

This is a story of survival, social history and second chances, Mary Edward’s Gallowgate, whilst fictitious, offers an informative look at the lives of young Irish immigrants in 1850s Glasgow.
