'Faces of Kabul' - Kelvingrove Art Gallery

‘Faces of Kabul’, a photodocumentary exhibition produced by Highlands-based photojournalist and writer, Nick Sidle.

The exhibition is a partnership between Heartstone and Glasgow Afghan United, telling the human story of the people of Kabul and the surrounding areas, in the early months of 2002, just a few months after 9/11.

It is a story of Afghanistan from a different perspective, with a reminder that beyond the politics and conflict, we must never forget the lives of ordinary people – the men, women and children – lives not that dissimilar from our own.

Find ‘Faces of Kabul’ in the community exhibition space on the ground floor.

Opening Hours

Monday – Thursday and Saturday: 10am-5pm

Friday and Sunday: 11am-5pm

The museum shops and the main restaurant are open.

News

The Kelvingrove organ recitals are back – starting Friday 11 March at 1pm. The recitals will once again be performed daily at 1pm, except on Sundays, when they will be at 3pm.
