Govanhill Carnival Parade 2019

Saturday 3 August, 2019 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Govanhill Park, Coplaw Road, Glasgow G42
A colourful celebration of the unique diversity of Govanhill, the carnival parade will include a pipe band, a brass band, dancers, singers, choirs, Chinese lion dancers, roller skaters, drummers, flags, banners and costumes, community groups, refugee groups, campaigns and performers. All weaving through the streets of Govanhill to say – we are proud of our diversity! The parade will start in Govanhill Park and walk together down Victoria Road to end up at the Queen’s Park Arena where the carnival will begin. All welcome – fancy dress encouraged!
