Jane lived in Pollokshields and trained as a Missionary. She was Matron of a girls home in Budapest. When World War Two broke out she refused to leave her girls and was one of 10 Scots who died in Auschwitz protecting Jewish girls.

Does anyone know of the SWAN family who lived at 5 SANDBANK St., Glasgow. My father was born there in 1920 and has sisters: Annie, Jean, Ina His name was Alexander. I am doing Family History. Any info/photos would be greatly appreciated……
