Gorbals Rose Garden
On Common Ground brings together a community cast of over 150 performers, musicians and volunteers from Glasgow along with Debajehmujig Storytellers from Manitoulin Island, Canada. Together we tell a story of community, family and the natural world through music, song and live theatre.
Gather at the Citizens Theatre to discover more about the culture, art and traditions of Manitoulin Island, then move through the Gorbals to the Gorbals Rose Garden, taking in scenes of Glaswegian and Manitoulin life along the way. On arrival at the Rose Garden, a spectacular theatrical, visual and musical performance awaits.
