How British is Scotland? A lecture series by the Centre of Scottish and Celtic Studies

The Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies, University of Glasgow
is hosting a public lecture programme discussing the theme of ‘How British is Scotland?’ in light of the upcoming referendum and we would be delighted if you were able to attend.
The series, which begins on 14th January will feature a number of lectures from esteemed academics from the University of Glasgow.
The first in the series is ‘Romancing the Union’ by Prof Lynn Abrams on Tuesday 14 January.
followed by ‘Anglification and the Arts of Resistance’ by Prof Alan Riach on Tuesday 4 February. Full details of all lectures in the series.

All lectures start at 5.30pm and will be held at the Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre at the Gilmorehill Campus Map (PDF)
