My Day Out: Caitlin McGarvey

Queens Cross Church My day out was great. First of all we (Pat, my wee brother Ryan and me) went to a place in Maryhill called the Queen's Cross Church. It was a Charles Rennie Macintosh art day. Today was FREE! But tomorrow is not free, so we went on the right day, so that was GOOD!

Ryan and I went and did art things and first I did an actitivity where I had to go around the Church [it used to be a Church] and look for the different Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs. I had to search for them and then draw them and I did most of them but a few were too difficult so I just went and drew a postcard for the Queen's, that's the name of it like I mentioned before. Then after the postcard I drew a big portrait of myself and Ryan did the same and they were added to the display in the choir seats looking over the whole Church.

Then we went to a really fantastic park and played on the monkey bars and the shoot. The shoot gave me electric shocks, which was not very nice.

There was a really exciting tall shoot and a climbing rope.

Now we are going out for dinner and I am going to try something new to eat.
