Friday November 10th, 2023 at 8 p.m.
Romeo has been banished from Verona after killing the cousin of his forbidden lover, Juliet. In Mantua he meets fellow exiles who are forced into isolation to consider suffering, loneliness, ice cream, nudity and free will. An absurd tragicomedy with music, inspired by William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Paris-based theatre group @TheBabelManoeuvre presents a new play inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet! In Without Verona Walls, Romeo is banished and is forced in isolation to consider loneliness, suffering, ice cream, nudity, and free will.
