A Series of Min-Adventures
A series of mini-adventures exploring the familiar in a new way to spark your imagination and creative writing.
Meeting Place
The rendez-vous point is the yellow gazebo at the side of The People’s Palace. 11 a.m.
The walks are suitable for people with limited walking, and wheelchair users, but wheelchair users MUST be accompanied during the walk by a support person.
There are some slight hills to negotiate.

Please bring something to write with, and dress for the weather! You might also like to bring a portable seat or towel to sit on the grass.
If bad weather is forecast, we may postpone the walk until the following day. If this is the case, we will aim to give you 48 hours notice.

*Lesley O’Brien is a singer, storyteller, and poet. With a passion for creative words and their power to heal, Lesley has chaired Lapidus Scotland, enjoys working as a Creative Writing facilitator and has worked for almost 30 years with Glasgow Women’s Aid as a Family Resource Worker supporting women and children in their recovery from domestic abuse.
