The Skids Resolution Revolution + Q & A
Thursday 9 November, 2023 8.20pm
GFT, 12 Rose Street, Glasgow G3 6RB
Delighted to be welcoming director and cinematographer Colin Graham and executive producer Selina Graham for a Q&A following this screening hosted by writer and broadcaster Nicola Meighan.
In 1977, The Skids hit the scene. Lionised by a Radio 1 DJ, their music influenced global bands like U2 and Simple Minds through the 1970s and early 1980s until, one day, it all fell apart. This is a story of revolution, resolution, and rebirth — not nostalgia. Punk’s not an age; it’s a state of mind.
Doc’n’Roll Festival 2023 programme.
