The Receptionist, GFT
23 – 26 July, 2018
Jenny Lu’s directorial feature debut is based on a true story. Unable to find a job, Tina, a Taiwanese recent graduate living in London, starts working in an illegal massage parlour as a receptionist. As she gets to know the women who work there, she sees how they struggle to make their lives work, threatened by a constant undercurrent of violence and danger.
