Director Lenny Abrahamson returns after his Oscar-winning Room, with this tense supernatural mystery, adapted from Sarah Waters’ novel. When Dr Faraday (Domhnall Gleeson) visits a crumbling estate from his childhood, Hundreds Hall, the Ayres family steps once more into his life. Hundreds Hall holds childhood memories for Faraday, where his mother worked as a maid, and as he begins to spend more time there, strange events and the people, begin to entwine themselves into his life.
