The Hellfire Club, Glasgow
Because the Night (of the 24 May, 2014)
With The Hellfire Club returns to The Griffin bar on Saturday 24 May. This time we are going to be playing some songs by the ‘boss’, Bruce Springsteen, and we will be joined by some great guests.
First off, we are very lucky to be joined by Glasgow’s own acoustic troubadour Graham Robertson. Over the last year he has had a number of high profile gigs, including headlining several times at the Acoustic Affair events held in the City Halls. Although he is a keen interpreter of Springsteen songs, The Hellfire Club are really looking forward to hearing him showcase his own fantastic material (which you can check out at http://grahamrobertson.bandcamp.com/)
We are also thrilled to welcome Belle in the Meadows to the Griffin. They have been described as a “deep south party tinged folk trio”, but you can check out one of their previous performances (from the Vagabond Social Club) for yourself at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noYXytEokPY.
Entry is still a mere £3, so come early if you want a seat.
