An extraordinary true David and Goliath story about the Sheffield citizens who took on their council, a giant multinational corporation and the police in order to stop the destruction of their city’s healthy street trees. This first-hand account shows how a community of determined residents in one of Europe’s greenest cities battled peacefully to protect the trees, even under the threat of bankruptcy and imprisonment.
