Josef and his war correspondent partner Isabel find a naked stranger floating in the pool of their holiday villa. When Isabel unexpectedly invites the stranger to stay, her presence takes root, the gaps between the family members grow, and Joe must confront the childhood memories he has locked away for so many years.

Set against the dazzling beauty of an Aegean summer, the truth inside this story is that like life – nothing can be expected. Based on the novel by Deborah Levy.
