Deep within a desolate landscape known as the Zone there is a mystical room that grants wishes. Led by the Stalker, one of the few men able to navigate the complex pitfalls within the Zone, a scientist and a writer set out on a dangerous journey to reach the room. As the men progress deeper into the Zone, they become increasingly unsure of their ability to handle the consequences of realising their wishes. Tarkovsky’s second foray into science fiction is an intense and haunting exploration of man’s desires, and is regarded as one of the greatest Sci-Fi lms of all time.
