Shadow of a Doubt, GFT
8 and 10 July, 2018
Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Shadow of a Doubt follows Charlie Oakley, a killer just one step ahead of the law, as he travels to Santa Rosa under the pretense of visiting his relatives. But his niece and namesake, Young Charlie, soon begins to suspect that her uncle is the Merry Widow Murderer, setting in motion a deadly game of cat and mouse. Joseph Cotten gives a standout performance as Uncle Charlie that perfectly highlights the characters dark nature.
