Treat someone you love or treat yourself
The latest film from Icíar Bollaín (Yuli) is the feel-good comedy that we all need right now. Hard-working seamstress Rosa (Candela Peña) is the Cinderella of her family. A born people-pleaser, everyone turns to her for childcare, cheeky favours and financial help. She finds it impossible to say no. Turning 45, she takes a stand, leaving Valencia to return to Benicassim, the small town of her youth. Her plan is to re-open the clothes shop that belonged to her late mother. She also decides to get married to the most important person in her life: herself! A sweet delight of a film.
UK Premiere. Thanks to The Match Factory
