This screening will be introduced by Laura Allen, a postgraduate student whose research has been about the pressures on South American Rainforests.
A contemporary environmental western set in the remote region of Misiones, bordering Paraguay and Brazil. Pierre has settled in well to the community, coaching the local rugby team and falling for school teacher Ana. But his role overseeing deforestation and pesticide use, brings him into conflict with local activists, the powers that be, and his own conscience.
