Piping Live! Family Fun Day
Tuesday 9 August, 2022 – Doors open 9.30 a.m.
National Piping Centre, 30-34 McPhater St, Glasgow G4 0HW
The Piping Live! Family Fun Day is back for 2022
Welcoming families, with children aged under 9 to come along and experience traditional Scottish arts of piping, drumming and highland dancing, then a fantastic magic show from the fantastic Gary Dunn.
Programme
09:30 – Doors open for arrival
09:45 – Start time – Nursery rhymes on smallpipes
10am – Come and Try Highland Dancing with dancers from Maryann McCreadie School of Highland Dancing
10.15am – Gary Dunn will present this amazing magical party –
11.15am – Come and Try Piping and Drumming with members of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland
11.45am – Finish
There will be face painting and a craft station available throughout the morning.
A buggy park will be available in The National Piping Centre for the morning.
