Saturday 1st June
Mick West and Frank McLaughlin
Mick West is regarded as one of Scotland’s finest interpreters of traditional song, and is no stranger to anyone who has been to Partick Folk Club in the past! Make sure you don’t miss this chance to see him perform alongside sensational guitarist Frank McLaughlin!

The Jarlath Henderson Band
Jarlath Henderson is perhaps known best for his beautiful style on the Uilleann Pipes, but his lesser known talent, his delivery of traditional songs, is every bit as spectacular. Jarlath will bring us a lovely mix of songs and tunes alongside the wonderful Innes Watson (guitar/fiddle), Hamish Napier (flute/keys), and Duncan Lyall (bass), not to be missed!

Sunday 2nd June
The Scott Wood Trio
Formed in the summer of 2012 for the Piping Live! festival, The Scott Wood Trio are an energetic and dynamic band, with driving tunes and innovative arrangements. With a wealth of personal musical experiences behind them, the trio combines together with a mixture of pipes/whistle, fiddle and guitar to create a tight, powerful and youthful live sound.

The Tannahill Weavers
This dynamic quartet play Scottish traditional music at its best. The band’s potent mixture of traditional ballads and fiery instrumentals leaves their audiences spellbound. As tight and versatile as any band in the Celtic music scene, the Tannahills can summon rock-n-roll intensity or haunting introspection.

Hi!
My name is Holly Boddice, a member of the Granny Green trio who were finalists at the recent Danny Kyle Open Stage competition at Celtic Connections. The trio consists of a trumpet, an accordion and a tuba and we perform new takes on world folk music.
I would greatly appreciate it if I could be given more information surrounding this festival and potential performing opportunities.
Cheers!
Holly
Congratulations, Holly. The people who run Partick Folk Club were behind this festival. You should check with them. The folk club meets last Friday of every month in St Peter’s Hall, Partick. You may also be interested in playing there?
