Outi Karhu – Let The Light In album launch
Thursday 20 November, 2025, 7 p.m.
Glasgow Art Club, 185 Bath St, Glasgow G2 4HU
A spellbinding evening to celebrate the launch of Finnish-Scottish songwriter Outi Karhu’s debut album Let The Light In.
Woven into a nostalgic story book, Let The Light In is a collection of tales from Outi’s life and travels played like lullabies for adults, with delicate and thoughtful melodic turns, lyrical piano lines, daring rhythmic experiments, and harmonies which either cradle the listener or stir them aware. Outi’s music is suffused with care – for nature, for human connection, for personal dreams and quiet fears. But ultimately, this album is a solace, a respite from the increasingly busy and relentless modern world.
The Glasgow Art Club offers a warm and intimate surrounding for the full band performance of the album from start to finish.
Support from the weaver of hauntingly beautiful piano folk, Rae Lena.
