Nope plus short, Glasgow Film Theatre
19 – 25 August, 2022
Oscar-winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and then Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with the expansive comedy horror epic Nope.
The film reunites Peele with Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar-nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents in a lonely patch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
Screening with short film Hackney Downs (Dir. Carl Earl-Ocran, 14m), presented by We Are Parable.
Old wounds resurface when a neurotic, overworked law graduate is forced to face his estranged friend and former sparring partner, now an amateur boxer in East London.
