John McEntire, the legendary drummer, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Chicago is playing his first European solo shows. His numerous projects – The Sea And Cake and Tortoise are two of the most prominent – have made him a first-call international musician and producer In his solo performances McEntire combines his energetic drumming with modular synthesizer impulses.
Stefan Schneider (Düsseldorf/ electronics) is a founding member of Kreidler and To Rocco Rot. He has worked with such diverse musicians as Hans-Joachim Roedelius (Cluster), Klaus Dinger (Kraftwerk, NEU!) or Arto Lindsay.
Sven Kacirek (Hamburg/drums) has released three solo albums thus far, including the highly praised “Kenya Sessions” in 2011. He has collaborated with Marc Ribot, Nils Frahm, Hauschka and F. S. Blumm.
After a tour through Southeast Asia and Australia Schneider Kacirek are looking forward to presenting their highly acclaimed debut album Shadow Documents (Bureau B) to audiences in Europe.
They will be joined by Sacred Paws DJS.
