Matchbox Cineclub Best of Final Girls Berlin 2019 CCA
Thu 14 November 2019
Matchbox Cineclub are delighted to present a selection of the best short films from this year’s Final Girls Berlin Film Festival. FGBFF showcases horror cinema that’s directed, written, or produced by women and are committed to creating space for female voices and visions, whether monstrous or heroic, in the horror genre.
Featuring anxiety speculations of “did I leave the coffee on?” and “am I pregnant with a devil-baby?” to the battleground of a black hair salon as local residents fend off a strange new monster: white women intent on sucking the lifeblood from black culture. The programme is packed with F-rated horrors!
The screening will be captioned. This event is priced according to a sliding scale from £0 – £8.
