Lenz (Eric Klotzsch) is a 30-something drifter, stumbling from party to party, unsure of his place in the world. After a chance meeting with the passionate and carefree Ira (Lana Cooper), he finally finds something worth caring for. A summer of love, drugs and parties whips them into a passionate affair, until reality bites and Lenz begins to question if he’s really ready for the next stages of life. An effortlessly cool, bizarre and original film, this romantic comedy has hints of Richard Linklater and Alan Yang, yet stands up on its own as one of the most refreshing pieces of cinema this year.
