An eloquent tribute to the enchanting mysteries of the Scottish landscape, this Powell and Pressburger classic follows Joan Webster (Wendy Hiller), a headstrong young girl who travels to Scotland to marry a wealthy elderly man, only to meet the young dashing captain Torquil MacNeil on her travels.
